Meet The OT!
Reagan Mayberry, OTD, OTR/L
Hi! I'm Reagan and I am the occupational therapist and owner of Pine Belt Therapy Services.
I love chocolate milk, the color purple, thrift stores, my bunny slippers, Costco, brunch, Jesus—and of course, OT. Anyone who has ever spent more than 32 seconds with me knows that I LOVE my job. Occupational therapy isn’t just my 9–5—it’s who I am. I often find myself getting teary-eyed over the progress my patients make, because every small victory truly means the world.
I often joke that I knew I wanted to be an occupational therapist before I even knew what OT was. That is in large part because of my Aunt Julie.
Julie is my mom’s younger sister and the absolute light of my life. She was 16 when I was born and has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I honestly don’t know if I noticed anything different about her. She is kind and capable and funny as can be. She is silly and sassy, brave and beautiful and bright. She helped me sound out the words in my bedtime stories, gave me piggyback rides past the dogs I was terrified of, and showed me what it means to live with joy and compassion. Julie helped me understand early on what it means to include and accept people who are different from me and I truly believe that ninety percent of who I am is because of who Julie is. Though I had never heard of occupational therapy until my 20s, it’s been in my soul for a long time.
Pine Belt Therapy Services was born from that same belief I’ve carried since childhood: that every child, every person, is capable, worthy, and full of potential. My job is to support kids and families in finding the tools, strategies, and confidence they need to thrive—not just in therapy sessions, but in everyday life.
Therapy with me isn’t quiet, stiff, or one-size-fits-all. It looks like crawling on the floor, singing silly songs, and meeting each child exactly where they are—with curiosity, creativity, and a whole lot of patience. Progress can be unpredictable and challenging, but every step forward is meaningful and worth celebrating.
If you're looking for a provider who will celebrate your child’s progress like it’s a Super Bowl win, cry happy tears right along with you, and bring equal parts heart, humor, and hustle to every session—welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
